What exactly is managed solar?
Managed solar lets individual consumers participate in a professionally managed solar project instead of installing panels at home. You are allocated a solar share and receive the associated benefits, subject to the applicable regulatory framework and your customer agreement.
Do I need a rooftop or any equipment at home?
No. Your participation is in a managed solar project, so there is no solar installation, wiring or generation equipment required at your home.
How do I receive a benefit?
Your share of solar generation is credited to your electricity bill by the DISCOM through the Virtual Net Metering (VNM) process.
Are returns or savings guaranteed?
No. We do not present guaranteed financial returns. Any estimates shown are illustrative and depend on project design, tariff, generation, applicable subsidy, regulatory approvals and your final agreement.
How long does a project take?
Project timelines vary depending on development, construction, approvals, grid connectivity and the applicable DISCOM/VNM process. Lumifly communicates relevant project milestones as the project progresses.
